Wall-E

Just finished watching it.  I had pretty high expectations given the press on the movie, and the recommendations from people I mostly trust.  The first 20 minutes were very slow, and I’m still not sure I see what the point was.  I thought it could have been done a bit better, but I would need to rewatch it to cement that opinion.  It really picks up speed in the second act, and steams to an excellent conclusion.  I thought the last hour was very, very good.  Great lessons, and extremely well done, it was definitely for an older audience than most Pixar movies.  I can definitely recommend it, though small children will be easily distracted (at least, Noah was).  I thoroughly enjoyed it for the most part, and would watch it again.
